Mbawulu Microfinance Bank Limited was licensed by Central Bank of Nigeria on 19th June, 1995 and commenced its operation on 2nd February, 1996 as Tier 2 Unit MFB with the required share capital.
Following the reform by the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2007, Mbawulu Microfinance Bank Limited, was among one of the Banks who were able to meet up with the CBN minimum Share Capital of N20m and was licensed to operate as Microfinance Bank on 14th December, 2007.
